  Does the job. It may need more than one application if scaling is Heavy. But the kettle comes out clean & sparkling. REMEMBER NOT to boil. Just follow Instructions.

  Better boiling kettle 15 December 2016

  We bought this along with new filters for our kettle, as when I went to clean the filters they fell apart and the limescale inside was absolutely awful! It came up as a suggested item so for the price took a gamble. We gave the kettle 2 flushes with the liquid, and although it didn't shift the stuff that has pretty much baked itself on, it got rid of all the scale on the element speeding up the boil! It did soften the more stuck on stuff, some of which I was able to scrape off. I'll now be making this a monthly habit of flushing out the kettle to keep it in better shape!

  Not good with heavy scale 28 September 2016

  I bought this product in the hope of removing the lime scale in my Kettle, i followed the instructions to the letter, but it did not remove much, so I emptied the kettle and did it again this time adding 5 cap fulls still not removing all the lime scale, it maybe the hard water area I live in, it may be the time I have used the kettle before attempting descaling, but it does not work for me so very disappointed with the product

  Great for Nespresso 09 June 2016

  I bought this instead of the Nespresso descaler, as it is considerably cheaper, and found it to be just as effective and easier to use. With a measuring cap and a drip free spout on the bottle it was easy to dispense the correct amount into the water container of the Nespresso machine, take note that the instructions are different to those on the Nespresso sachets and I found that the ones on the bottle made more sense and worked just as well if not better. I have had problems with water overflowing from the tray during the brewing of the coffee and sometimes a single de-scaling with the sachets was not sufficient. However, this cured the problem first time and at this price I'd be happy to do it more frequently anyway. As there is plenty left in the bottle the iron comes in for the treatment next!

  Clean Coffee Maker 25 May 2016

  I bought this to clean my Dolce Gusto coffee machine and it worked perfectly. I followed the instructions on the back of the bottle and I was surprised at the amount of rubbish it had built up over a year, needless to say it cleaned my machine and it is now working as good as new and best of all I have plenty left over for my kettle and iron. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a descaler, it's an excellent cleaner and the price is fantastic in comparison to the big name brands.

  It does what it says it will do! 30 March 2016

  Living in an area with a lot of chalk in the water, I need to descale my kettle, steam iron, shower head, etc. frequently. Using vinegar and water is OK some of the time but to get the job done properly you need a proper descaler. Oust does the job. No more to be said really.
