Must remember to measure first 06 August 2018

Not long enough for my (very) old freezer my fault for not measuring properly first . Also unable to close the door afterwards . Old seal was a lot thinner seemingly. Possibly too old for parts now

Does the job 19 July 2018

Because my freezer doesn't have an off the shelf replacement seal getting a universal seal was the only option. You pretty much have to take the door off the freezer to replace the seal. I used the time to defrost the freezer. I had to cut loads off them as they are for a much larger freezer. I used 5 minute two-part epoxy to glue the corners. I had to hold the edges in place while the glue set so I did one corner at a time.

No fitting instructions 14 June 2018

The product was compatible with my fridge door, however, there was no instructions with item. The video shows the fitting of a branded seal which seems to just click in place. I have noted in the comments section that others have had the same issue but eSpares have not addressed this problem. All it would take is either a photocopy of the fitting instructions with each purchase or a new video. Hope you take this comment as an opportunity for continuous improvement

It does what it says on the box 12 December 2017

Ok so the seals on the fridge and freezer had perished and the magnets were done so anything that improved the situation was going to be good. Bought these new seals with little to no expectation. Looked at the "how to guide" and on youtube and got going. I had new acceptable seals in a couple of hours and after working out the fridge first the freezer was dead easy. So way better than buying a new fridge and freezer! Point of note: where you have to cut the corners on your new seals look at the fridge door there will be a fold in the metal showing you the best angle to cut. Good luck.

    A simple solution 29 October 2017

I was unable to find the exact fridge door seal but chose this with the recommendation. It was not the easiest to fit but once fitted it did the job perfectly. I was a little concerned that after initial fitting there were some areas that were not sealing. With advice from the espares team this was soon sorted with some heat. I was unable to find the video on the site which would have been a great help.

Good seal but flawed fixing method. 02 October 2017

Magnetic attachment system is hopelessly inadequate (yes my freezer lid is steel....). An adhesive is absolutely essential if the seal is to reamin in place. Super glue worked well for me.

    Great replacement 09 August 2017

Delivered a lot quicker then expected. Seal required gluing in place as it wouldn't just hold. Connecting corner pieces was a bit tricky to cut and glue. Would be much better if you was provided with 4 corners pre joined then cut and join straight edges. Took me about an hour to remove old seal and fit. Still a hundred times better then the old ripped seal. All is in place and freezer isnt loosing its cool. So far no ice build up so moisture isnt getting in. A little over priced as you get 2 pieces and 2 plastic corners to assist in joining. Some glue or sealant supplied would be worth the value.
