  This second replacement, my third filter, has the filter material covering the whole frame which is an improvement. Fitting is not easy but once in place it is very secure. Hopefully quality is better than previous examples and filter will be more robust

  Kettle Filter 10 November 2013

  Fitting was easy-peasy ... I noticed all the earlier posts said it was really difficult but it isn't. All you have to do is put the filter inside the kettle, put the small groove at the bottom of the filter onto the vertical plastic moulding and clip it on ... total time three or four seconds ... no bending, forcing or squeezing necessary! ....

  Useful purchase 10 October 2013

  Good to be able to buy spare filter to save buying new kettle. A little tricky to fit but OK if you persevere. Filters seem to wear out quickly so bought two. Have learnt that it's probably best to remove filter when descaling kettle to prolong the life.

  Brought my kettle back to new 18 September 2013

  Filter was just like the original, just a bit of a fiddle to fit it. Not the filters fault the manufacturer of the kettle "Kenwood".

  A small spare but a gret saving of time 26 August 2013

  A kettle filter can be an annoying thing to replace - especially where we live in the countryside. An order to e spares over the web produced the goods almost immediately. I just wish that everything could be so simple.

  THE REPLACEMENT FILTER IS IDENTICAL TO THE ORIGINAL, SO TOTALLY SUITABLE 09 August 2013

  The problem with it is exactly the same as the problem with the original filter. After removing to clean it, it is very difficult, almost impossible, to fit it back. I would almost not recommend the kettle for that reason. Very poor design indeed of the housing for the filter. The kettle itself is excellent. Excellent service by eSpares.

  The transaction could not have been better. The replacement of the filter was not straight forward, it required excessive finger pressure to push into place and for some people would be a difficult task. Brief instructions with a diagram would be most helpful for home owners! - Cheers, Jack
