  Obviously I experienced a problem with my Bosch garden shredder and following research I found the Capacitor could have been the problem. Having ordered one from e-Spares, it arrived within 3 days - very prompt. I fitted the item within minutes and it works very well indeed. Delighted with everything.

  A perfect fit 02 May 2016

  This capacitor replaces the original in my Bosch AXT 1600 Shredder, which after several years started smoking and melted slightly. Rather than scrap the whole Shredder I thought I would try replacing the burnt out part. This espares part is an exact match, including the threaded rod at the bottom, which screws into the inside of the control panel. So undo a few screws (which you have to do to find out what has gone wrong!), you will need a special screwdriver bit as they are not standard Phillips heads, remove the control panel cover, unclip the two wires from the old capacitor, unscrew the capacitor from the casing, reverse the process to fit your new capacitor and you are good to go. Hopefully many more years of shredding now still ahead!

  This Part Bought my Shredder Back to Life 21 April 2016

  My shredder would only make a buzzing sound when switched on, until I fitted the capacitor purchased from Espares. When switched on after fitting,which was very easy , the Bosch 1600 shredder burst into life again saving me from buying a replacement.

  Easy Fix and Great Service 14 October 2013

  Part was required as the last one had blown up. Replacement was easy to find on the site and delivery was prompt. Had a question on polarity and which connection was which and the good folks at Espares answered my email within half an hour. All fixed within 10 minutes.
