  Ordered online at the best price on the internet. Parts arrived following day. The video on the espares website was easy to understand and follow and extremely beneficial.   Another replacement 15 January 2014

  I purchased one of these elements a year ago (it was dispatched 7th Jan 2013). Went in easy and worked fine for just 1 year!!! Now had to order another replacement. Here's hoping this one lasts a bit longer.

  To help prevent damage to a fan element turn the thermostat down to minimum for thirty seconds before switching off. Switching straight off stopping the circulation fan immediately when the element is hot can cause overheating and damage the element as the circulating air stops.

  Tricky to remove the old screw holding the cover plate due to corrosion. Element fitted with no problem. very simple to remove and install.

  Good fitting video but did not highlight fact that clips should not be gripped with pliers too low as will make them tighter! Duh! Got there in the end saved a packet on electrician doing it. thanks!

  Just to make it clear if the connections are loose on the element they should be tightened by gently squeezing the connectors closed.
