  The perfect solution 27 January 2015

  I was dubious about going with a DIY solution and almost bought a new microwave. I paid £180 for my 8 year old Panasonic Micro wave but now for a quick fix solution I'm delighted saving me cash and a like new micro wave feeling that I can't explain. Well worth the DIY route.

  This is a genuuine panasonic part and was very easy to fit. Some companies are not so clear and sell a pattern part having shown a panasonic motor.

  espare offer outstanding variety of parts and their 'is this compatible' section very useful but manufacturers cannot always be relied upon to keep the spec the same. If you are prepared risk 'if it walks like a duck,talks like a duck, it's a duck' mentality ring espare and check if a non compatible part really is if the illustrated part looks closely like the one you want. Carry on the excellent work espare.

  It was easy to order as a result of the clear photograph of the product. It arrived within three working days and I fitted it in minutes (although some simple instructions wouldn't have come amiss particularly in relation to the electrical connectors that were very difficult to get off).

  a real easy fix 21 October 2014

  easy to fit just 2 screws and 2 bayonet connections seperate the vent cover on the bottom and revers it when refitting but you will need a self taping screw, much cheaper than a new micro/oven/grill any one could do it

  Combination oven repreived 30 September 2014

  At ten years old the Turntable motor on our Panasonic combination oven decided to quit life as it knew it, at such an age I doubted that I would be able to get a replacement but espares were able to supply, in 24 hours as well. That was a bonus as this oven is used for all my daily cooking. Now for the bad news the Web Site states if you order early enough you'll receive the goods by 9 am next day we didn't but it was delivered as DPD stated in their email between 12:00 and 13:00 hrs

  Easy to install 22 September 2014

  This motor was much easier to install than I had expected. A metal plate on the underside of the microwave needs to be cut out, but I used heavy duty wire cutters to snip between the pairs of holes around the edge and easily removed the plate. The motor is held in place with two small Phillips screws, I used a pearl-catcher to avoid dropping the screws inside the base of the Microwave, I pulled off the two wire connectors from the old motor and transferred them to the new, I then fitted the motor and replaced the two Phillips screws. I then removed the larger screw from the base which is used to refix the plate that was cut out. It needs to be rotated through 180 degrees and the two tabs fit in the slots on the base which is all held in place by the larger screw. Less than 10 minutes work.

  Easy to install 20 August 2014

  Read all other reviews & decided to go ahead with purchase. The online videos helped with installation. It took me a bit longer to install as I am not an expert (45 mins ) but well worth it. I am happy as my Panasonic microwave turntable back to normal.
