  The seal did not fit as well as expected. It left a gap between the top of the seal and the oven opening which still allows heat to escape. Not as universal as made out to be

  Easy to fit but we had to remove some of the door seal as the oven door would not close, there is still some heat escaping.

  Item arrived in reasonable time and was just as advertised, fitting was simple and only took a matter of minutes. Unfortunately it turned out not to be thick enough for the oven concerned and so it did not quite do the job. Thanks anyway

  I think the product was good if it fits your cooker, after fitting the seal my door has not sealed properly ...i checked the product was compatable for my cooker and stated it was. But seems to be a lot thinner than the one that came out of my cooker hence why it hasn't sealed well enough. Very easy to fit!!

  Fair value for money 03 January 2011

  No instructions supplied with product.Had to adapt more than expected to make seals fit i.e.drill new holes for clips to fit.Also found that triangular rubber had to be removed to allow door to close and without instuctions had to guess lengths to cut seals for correct tension.After all this seals are working.

  with our seal and the speed it was delivered here in France. It doesnt quite fit perfectly as our oven corners are slightly rounded. But it better than the original which fell to bits. Will buy from E spares again.

  Universal Oven Door Seal 26 April 2009

  This seal wasn't totally universal because I had to drill 3mm holes in the corner of the aperture for the seal to fit properly. Once fitted, It did the job.

  Take extra care 14 April 2009

  Take care, whilst this is an excellent door seal for the price, the fixings provided might not match what you require. We found with an electrolux cooker that they were too square and the seal did not sit in the correct position, however with a little modification using the new seal and the old fixings we achieved a perfect result.
