  HOTPOINT TUMBLE DRYER TS11P 29 August 2011

  This belt is actually about 2-3 cm shorter than the original, and therefore very difficult to fit. There's not much stretch in it. It took several hours to gain access to the drum and motor, and I never did manage to remove the outer casing completely. The front panel did want to come away. So had to feed the belt in with the casing in situ. Watch out for sharp edges! Also, release the tension wheel spring in order to get the belt on to the motor, and then flex those muscles to get the spring back into position. Screwing the case back onto the chassis took several attempts, but managed it in the end. This tumble dryer has been going for years, and I was amazed that it still goes after all this.

  Purchase was good - fitting was a nightmare - and still is on a Creda 28 March 2011

  Ordered product and was here within 2 days. Easy to find the right part for the tumble dryer. However the tumble dryer is not like any on line instructions shown. As soon as you take the carcass off the drum has no stability. Most other dryers have a top that comes off. This one does not. To get to the drum and pulley you have to take the top and sides off as one. Takes 2 people to fit this onto a creda - may be easier on a different make.
