  Replaced old perishing belt at same time as Motor Brushes. New belt was much tighter than old one which was obviously stretched over time. Once new belt fitted all working fine.

  New belt 14 July 2014

  Bought the belt as I thought the belt was slipping due to surging. However, removing machine and checking underneath showed the brushes were very badly worn. Found a method for self test which unfortunately proved the motor and belt were fine as m/c did spin , so proving the actual prgrammer was at fault. M/c nearly 4 years old so took the option of buying a new m/c instead. Belt though would have been very easy to replace. Keeping belt as this one also will fit thre new Bekowm4155lw.
