This may be not a genuine part but how could a genuine part be better than this. It was so easy to fit that it took me longer to clean the rest of the air path than to fit the new vent hose. It may be a bit on the light side but I am sure that it will give me as many years of service as the original did.

unfortunately diameter of the tube smaller than original and its supposed to be genuine, this couse a problem fitting to fan housing of dryer bieng as a professional i get over this but an unexperience person would have a problem.

I do not know how long vent hose will last as quality is only average. The length was stated as 2m (78 inches)but actual length when stretched out was 69 inches.

A Good Replacement Part 08 November 2011
I was glad to get rid of my old, sagging vent hose and replace it with the new sturdier one. It was a bit fiddly fixing the ends of the hose to the end attachments I already had, as I wasn't sure whether to screw, push or both. A couple of lines of simple instruction included with the hose would have helped. However,once secured I was very pleased with the resulting improved look and performance of my tumble drier.
