  Still will not move 19 April 2019

  The plastic tool slips and does not fit snugly. It won't give the correct support around the glass dome. Some better method of lighting is required for the so called quality oven, not happy.

  Part success 28 September 2017

  The tool wasn't rigid enough when pressure was applied with an extra lever, it just twisted off the glossy surface. However when WD40 was applied through a fine nozzle and left for 5 minutes the tool worked with a fine rubber glove placed inside for grip. Had to make sure to clean up the surfaces after to get rid of the smell. Thanks I now have a lit oven

  Not good. 10 July 2015

  The tool is made of plastic and is designed to assist removal of the oven bulb cover in a Bosch oven which, presumably due to design reasons is extremely difficult to remove. The plastic tool being soft kept slipping on the glass cover which could not easily be removed. The only answer was to remove the oven door in order to get better leverage and a better grip on the cover. The need to go to such extremes just to change a light bulb raises questions over the oven design in that respect.

  Didn't work for us 08 February 2015

  Tried lots of times with this tool to remove the glass light cover. Got various strong handed men to try. Won't budge even with this tool. Does help the grip. Any suggestions anyone?? Need to replace bulb.

  Grease and oven cleaner may have drawn into the covers 'thread' and now glued in position. wipe with a 'wet cloth' and allow the moisture to penetrate for an hour or so, rewipe again to reapply moisture and warm for 5 minutes.   Didn't want to be negative 15 January 2015

  I am not able to say anything too positive about this product as I have not been able to remove the bulb. It may be that I am being too gentle for fear of breaking something and I will have to wait until one of my sons visits to see if they can replace the bulb. Sorry.

  not easy to use kept slipping off 28 April 2014

  couldn't remove glass cover even with the special lamp remover tool I nearly gave up. As a last resort I tried WD40,after a few minutes it worked and the lamp cover was removed easily.

  Didn't work 07 May 2012

  Tried the tool to remove the oven lamp cover, but still wouldn't budge. Rang Neff customer services and they reluctantly sent an engineer out, only had the cooker installed less than 5 months ago. He couldn't get it off either. So he had to dismantle from the top if the oven. He said goes out to a few of these lamp cover problems. Neff/Bosch/Siemans really need to address this problem. That aside excellence service/delivery from espares.

  Still not cracked it 19 April 2012

  The first lamp failure resulted it my cracking the glass cover as it appeared to have been fitted by machine and was most unwilling to move. This is from the second oven and has the same problem. The product is made of milk bottle plastic and is too flexible to move the jammed in cover. Also this lamp is at an angle and right at the back of the oven.

  Didn't work for me. 22 November 2011

  This tool certainly allowed a better grip on the lamp cover but I still couldn't get the lamp cover off. Going to have to call the engineer. The tool wasn't a perfect fit for the lamp cover and it still slipped off quite a few times.
