  My only reservation is that the lamp was in the top right hand corner of the oven and I am right handed and did not have enough leverage to turn the tool. However, a left-handed person removed the cover with little difficulty.

  Resolved a difficult problem! 21 August 2013

  The Bosch Oven bulb cover had resisted all attempts to remove it to enable replacing the 'long life bulb' (which wasn't!) I gave up and ordered the removal tool. I had a little difficulty ensuring the tool remained on the glass cover BUT removing the oven door eased access and resolved this problem. It was then easy to grab the the tool which quickly removed the glass cover. I know you said to exclude delivery but other more costly products bought from you recently were delivered by DPD and arrived the following day, setting the standard! This wasn't the case with Royal Mail and this comparatively low cost item.

  Well, it worked eventually 29 July 2013

  This has to be rated as a good buy as without it we would still not have a working oven light, having tried everything from a oil filter removing tool to a lump of wood and a hammer. Nevertheless I still couldn't shift the light cover by hand. The only way was to put a flat spanner in the slot and use a screwdriver as a lever to get enough torque on it. Why Neff put them in so tight is beyond me. Useful tip: take the oven door off first. Makes it so much easier to reach the light cover.

  I have had problems removing the cover over the bulb in my cooker , this small tool has proven to work although it took a few times to get into the correct position but happy to say it does work .

  Bosch again 16 April 2013

  Purchased in desperate attempt to change a light bulb in 10 year old Bosch oven. It does not fit but that's my fault not espares. Could write a book about Bosch failing but you haven't got enough space here. They told me to spray the bulb cover with vinegar. Well, I did but my oven is not very dirty anyway. There is nothing to grip the pesky thing with. Call out charge from Bosch is obscene. Cook in darkness instead!!!!!

  Only tool that would do the job! 04 February 2013

  When I saw this on Espares it looked like it would be worth a try as everything else we'd attempted had failed. Though not quite as easy as the instructions led us to think, we managed it eventually. This tool is probably the ONLY thing that will remove these covers if (like ours) they have become almost "welded" in place after many years of constant oven usage.

  Worthwhile Investment 03 January 2013

  This tool made it easy to remove the light cover on my Neff oven and saved a call out charge just to repalce an oven bulb. I have just one criticism of Bosch Neff Siemens- why cant the oven lamp holder be designed so that no tool is necessary to remove it?!

  Desperate to change oven light bulb 25 December 2012

  Having tried with numerous things to get the bulb cover off, unsuccessfully, I purchased this gadget. Still unsuccessful - so when my son visited - got him to try. It turned out that the instructions in the cooker manual said turn ANTI-CLOCKWISE when in fact it should have been Clockwise. Assume the gadget helped budge the tricky cover. Great to have a light back in the top oven.
