  Really stuck in light cover! Ian's advice to use a lever along the slot to get proper leverage proved the answer after battling for 20 minutes! Hooray!

  Good product 27 January 2017

  Overall Good Product, would recommend it with resovations, it does the job. Hard to keep on the Light cover while unscrewing lamp cover. needs more leverage of some description, had difficulty in finding anything to put in slot for leverage. But at least I did not brake lamp cover and it did come off. Postage did appear a little dear.

  Expensive bit of plastic, but it works 29 January 2016

  Like other reviewers, I found that I could not seem to unscrew the little glass lamp cover in my Neff oven. Not because it was jammed or covered in gunk, but simply because it is quite smooth, recessed, and you can't get a good grip on it. One twist with this plastic tool, and it was turning freely.

  Can slip off the lens. 13 November 2015

  OK it works. But if the lens is tight (they usually are) Gripping the tool with your fingers is unlikely to shift it. You need a lever of some kind with some weight behind it. In my case it was a big adjustable spanner, but a long flat piece of steel that fits into the slot should do it. Fingers and wrists are unlikely to be strong enough on their own. But given the above, it did the job and the lens was soon removed. Fitting the bulb and refitting the lens was a cinch compare with actually cleaning the lens before putting it back!

  Useful tool 03 November 2015

  This is an extremely useful tool particularly in replacing or refitting fairly new /clean lamps but Other action required if your need to replace a cover or bulb which has been in place sometime and is stuck with grease or heat

  I looked at MarkP review: "...got bulb cover off by getting both hands on the cover and pulling down at the same time as turning.. came off easily this way..." This works and It took not time at all. I am sure this is a good tool that will do it for some and It is cheap enough, but I did not need it and using this tip that will save you some money.

  Good stuff. Apart from appearing almost fused , the lamp cover is/was very inaccessible and hard to get any angle or power to twist on. Between a sharp rap with a hammer and this tool, job done.
