I’d been trying to remove the lamp cover for days using all sorts of stuff ie tape,rubber gloves and even an oil filter removal tool! Ordered this tool from eSpares with a great price and value for money postage. Job done in 2 minutes.

I have been trying for ages to get the glass cover off the oven bulb but failed. I got this tool and in less than 30 seconds I had the glass cover off and the bulb out. Refitting was just as easy.

Did what I couldn’t! 16 December 2020
The oven light blew and I was unable to unscrew the cover despite trying several “ingenious” tactics. Googled, as you do, and found this gizmo. Tried espares and of course they had it and it arrived a couple of days later. Worked a treat and very easy to do.

Had tried and tried to get Neff oven lamp cover off , took seconds with the tool remover. Excellent. Should be provided with oven!

Device does not ‘hold’ the bulb cover, so slips easily. Eventually got the bulb cover off with a bit of WD40, giving a helping hand. Would use again, so value is ok, but the real issue is the lamp cover produced by NEFF🙄

Waste of money 29 January 2021
A piece of plastic which simply slides off any high points giving no leverage, therefore useless on an item which is solid to move. In the end I removed the glass dome with a g clamp
