    Exactly what I wanted 09 June 2016

Hunted for these for ages before realising they were available at E-spares. Used E-spares before with great results... will remember to check here first. Fitted to my existing components with ease and worked as expected. Same quality as original (Bosch).

just the job 20 April 2014

The tines brake off over time. It is easy to push out the old claws. Fitting the new ones can be tricky. You need to line up the loop of metal at the back of the claw with the slot in the plastic rotor - it might be filled with mud so use a pointed piece of metal - say a long mail to clear out the slot. Rotate the claw to get the long bit in , push the rest in with your fingers or a piece of plastic - I used the flymo scarper. (make sure you line up the tines of the claw with the existing ones, in the direction of rotation of the rotor)

Simple and Easy 10 May 2010

Looking at the space where the claw used to be is quite daunting - how did the old one get out of the hole and how on earth can I get one back in there. Having identified the new part - by model number - it appeared to have a shape that would not fit! On closer inspection there is a groove on the wall of the hole. Identify which way the bent part of the claw should finally face, insert one end of the spring into the hole and push the rest - locate the u-section of the claw in the slot and pull the now accessible end through the hole. Centre the position of the claw in the hole and its done - the simplest repair I have ever done - and all in 10 seconds!
