  Poor Design 21 July 2011

  I would guess that the designers have tried to copy another manufacturers Strimmer without infringing patents or whatever. This spool is awkward to fit, the line jams and breaks frequently. It is then very difficult to extract and get going again. The outer clear plastic sleeve is ridiculous and only lasts a short time. However, having bought the Combitrim there is little alternative but to use this spool, usually by fitting stronger replacement line.

  Bosch strimmer and spools 22 May 2009

  This is the worst strimmer I have had and the new spools still keep flying off the machine. The line is always breaking and unwinding - I don't know, most likely a duff machine.
