  The perfect replacement 12 March 2014

  The part was a replacement for the original hose which had split near the nozzle. The new part fitted perfectly and seems to be of better quality than the original part.

  Electrolux Chic 1800 Wand replacement 23 February 2014

  This is a good replacement for the previous hose having the same matching bayonet connector. I imagine that the hose will remain kink free, being heavyweight and robust. The nozzle is not as solidly built and simply slides into the new Universal Deluxe Wand kit.

  Electrolux Hose pipe 15 July 2011

  I purchased this item as a replacement for my old 1610 Electrolux's hose as it was easy type to remove the nozzle part with a knife and then refit the old original shorter one because this was one reason why I purchased that particular cleaner. Also its case fitting end had become loose through wear of use the replacement is much firmer and seals better This may seem strange but was the only way to do this repair though you will find the pipe is of a slightly larger diameter but longer, avoid heat glue or plastic melting glue if you need to use some. If anyone wants to make a convertion to an earlier format, then this pipe is an easy one to adapt though you realise you will lose your warranty!
