  This product is ok however one drawback on the design is my original basket had two internal slots so it could go over the tray plate spikes

  Not quite as good as expected 30 August 2020

  Fits in existing dishwasher but not as well and does not have the capacity or versatility as the one it was to replace. Perhaps my fault for not checking more thoroughly before placing order. Otherwise, no complaints with "espares" service.

  Cutlery Basket 26 February 2018

  Although this was listed as suitable for my dishwasher the only way to use it means we lose half of the plate rack. The quality is fine and excellent value for money but I just don't think it works for my dishwasher.

  My choice of a universal replacement was not good. 14 February 2017

  The Hotpoint dishwasher basket has two vertical slots to enable it to slide down over the vertical seperaters. Your universal basket does not have these slots so I needed to bend down the vertical seperaters to allow the basket to sit on the bottom rack

  Fits but be careful 15 May 2015

  Arrived very quickly with a Fragile sealing tape. Very awkward to remove from box as it appears to have been put in upside down,so had to destroy to get it open. Inside was bubble wrap,plastic handle and plastic body. No instructions. Very difficult to attached handle to body without instructions. Also difficult to attach without breaking handle. Once attached fitted my Hotpoint Super Plus 7820 without problem.

  We found the handle is of little use and gets in the way so it has been discarded. The design would be better with all the compartments the same size as per the original basket. I see little use for the fold down flap incorporated into the handle, gravity will hold most items in the basket. otherwise value for money and it fitted exactly in its place.

  Cutlery basket replacement 01 March 2015

  This seems very well made and sturdy. Separate large compartments for cutlery rather than placed in holes. Good feature is one compartment can have a lid fixed, so small items eg plastic medicine spoons are secure. This was a replacement and not the official hotpoint basket for our type of dishwasher. So downside was that it does not fit properly onto the racks in our particular machine. However, perfectly useable - we dont have one of the dish racks upright to get around the problem.
