  Worst Replacement Cutlery Basket 22 December 2017

  Very disappointed with quality. Very flimsy, removable handle which came off when I lifted clean cutlery out of dishwasher. Would not but again.

  Not worth the bother 09 August 2017

  Being a universal cutlery holder, it does not have the required channels to allow it to fit within the plate holders. The only way for it to be used, would be for it to sit right in the middle of the lower tray, reducing the plate capacity by about 50%.

  the basket has no small item spacing tray like the original basket so i cut a section out of it to repair the old one

  what a waste of time 10 November 2014

  Not universal at all, didn't fit in any way, too high, too wide for the prongs. Postage so high to return it I am not going to bother and just use it to keep screw drivers in in the garage!

  It only fits in one position which effectively means that only half of the lower tray can hold plates and other items. The replacement was for a Hotpoint machine where the cutlery basket can slide up between the lower plate racks. It looks the same the dimensions are the same but the basket design is not a patch on the original for Hotpoint.

  Oh dear... 07 April 2014

  Unfortunately I ordered a full size dishwasher cutlery basket! I then ordered a slimline one which is just right for my appliance. This is the 2nd basket I have bought, and I do find that the slimline cutlery baskets are a lot thinner plastic, and when sharp knives are placed facing down, this is what cuts through the thin plastic! I had a fullsize dishwasher for 11 years and not once did I replace the basket because as I said before they are made thicker and stronger!...Why?

  The cutlery tray was the right dimensions, which I checked before ordering, but does not fit our dishwasher as the bottom of the basket should fit the elevations of the tray it sits on, which I did not think to check before ordering, and the one I received is flat so does not "sit" on the tray. I did not see any information about the base on the product description. However is does look robust, and would have probably been ok if it wasn't for the flat base, will have to order a specific Electrolux basket, that firs the grooves and elevations of my machine
