The item I purchased was merely a Filter/ Seal for the flexible cold water hose leading to a washing machine. The quality of this item is excellent, and it was easy to fit. Not only that, but it sealed perfectly first time without having to over tighten. The information given for this item was just right, sizes being key. The alternative was to fit a new hose with standard open washers, but the filter after all is in for a purpose.

The water inlet hoses to our Siemens washing machine were leaking. On removing the washers we discovered that they were these rather unusual ones with filters which we were unable to buy locally, so we looked on-line. I'm happy to report that these fitted perfectly and we now have a fully functioning, non-drip washing machine again.

My washing machine has started to leak slightly becaue the rubber washer at the water inlet had become hardened with age. This eSpares part proved to be an easy solution and came very quickly. No more leaks !
