  Good Value Seal 29 November 2015

  Seal fitted with little problem as it comes with a light coating of grease. Remember to slacken off the retaining ring fully as I did not initially and could not then get it to fit in the groove. This caused me to struggle longer than necessary as it fitted easily once fully slackened off. Machine back up and running with no problems now. Recommend this product but do not know if the non-genuine would have been just as good.

  This door seal looked like it was going to be a nightmare to fit and require 2 extra pairs of hands. The job of fitting it was awkward, but I found that the coating that had been factory applied (possibly a release agent from the mould), made fitting it a lot easier than if washing up liquid had been used. Total time taken to remove old seal and replace was around 20mins.

  Easy to fit on a Hoover machine. Make sure you coat the rim with diluted washing up liquid before trying to attach it.

  The wife's bra put holes in the old door seal so I ordered a new one and fitted it myself. First time for me and watched the how to video job done!! Total cost £40 new washing machine £250....no brainer....

  Problem: my pup ate my washing machine door seal. Solution: get one from espares! I took the old one out the day before, and tried to remember how it went.... And when the new one arrived it was fiddly but simple to fit. I did it in an hour and a half, having watched the very useful espares film showing me how. Ladies, do not fear the door seal..... Stay calm, unplug it and use your common sense.
