I needed to replace a hinge because the spring on one on my 12 years old Hygena refridgerator had snapped. Although the advert did not say so in as many words, what I was sent was an original replacement identical to the broken one. It was just a case of taking out the old one and putting the new one in its place. Job done.

Bought in 2009 and now replaced with another set from somewhere else, i found that there was too much play in them and the lower hinge cracked, squealed when used and a pin fell out eventually

I would have to say if the hinges were as good as these from new they would never break. A bit over priced for a hinge But the quality is excellent so what price should they be ??? overall 10 out of 10

rang a local fridge shop and was quoted that it would be over £40 for the part i needed,got it on here for just over half the price and was here within 3 days ,and simple to fit,fantastic ,will definatly be useing again thanks

Really easy to fit, a few screws to take out of the old hinges, fitted this hinge (and it's brother) using the old screws and hinges, now works a treat. £30 instead of £200 for a new frige - bargain!

Hygena fridge hinge failure. Surprisingly, Espares carried the hinges, easy to find with the model number, however the lower hinge was stated as a fridge/freezer hinge. I gambled and bought the pair which were correct and easy to fit. Care is needed when the hinge is open because it can trap ones fingers. Easy for a 75 year old.
