Not Much Use! 01 May 2014
I was really looking forward to receiving this tool, as we have 9 cats. When it arrived I eagerly unpacked it, and attempted to fit it to my Dyson, but to no avail! It simply will not fit. So, not beaten, we also have a Vax vacuum cleaner, so I thought it's ok, it will fit that one ..................... but it doesn't. You have to hold it on the tube to use it. When you do use it, yes, it picks the hairs up, but they just stick to the head and are not vacuumed up the tube. I have had to manually get the hairs off the head. So, not a good buy at all!!

Advertised under `Dyson Spares` However it has a round tubular compression end .............. that does not fit to a Dyson . BEWARE !!

This does not fit our dyson at all, though i do use it by hand to remove the dog hairs on my sofa. it is also slightly differant to the picture, but like the one in the video,which has a swivvel head. it also says that you can remove the lint pads for washing but am afraid you can not. would give more stars if it even fitted.

This tool does no really pick up pet hair at all. the hair gets stuck to the velvet bit and then gets dragged along. You have to remove the hair by hand and put it in the pipe to be sucked up. I found this a total waste of money and a normal brush does a better job.

Does not fit the Dyson DC08TW Animal Hose. Ive tried every configuration and unless you have to buy an adapter, does not work with this cleaner at all. Totally useless purchase. Mind you works a treat when brushing carpets by hand without cleaner

Although customer service have explained how to use the part if you have a dyson you know that a screw fit part will not fit however wide it goes. I wish I had seen the previous customers review before I ordered the part, however, having telephoned espares I have been emailed a returns label and ref and will be refunded in full so I cannot fault them at all and will continue to order from them in the future.

This is supposed to be universal, ie fit all hoovers, it would not fit over the pipe, and it is screw fit, absolutely a waste of money

First - I have used espares quite a few times and have always been impressed with their service. That said - I bought this to fit my old dyson DC14 - it was listed on the espares website as a suitable product for my Dyson. Hoŵever, it does not fit and cannot be adapted to fit. It is, in effect, useless for Dyson DC14's. I suspect that if it had fitted, it may work well. I should really make the effort to return this to espares but can't be fussed.
