  Unable to use this 27 May 2011

  If you are like me and have weak wrists, don't bother to send for this, I could not screw the attachment down tight enough for it stay on the end of the pipe. Otherwise it is probably a good idea for picking up pet hair. Shame I didn't get to use it.

  This is quite an amazing contraption which works well on picking up dog/cat hair, it is very easy to use and fits very well on my vacuum. I only have one small complaint, if there are a lot of animal hairs, sometimes the residue from the brush ends up on the carpet so its a good idea to check the head every so often to remove the residue before it ends up on the carpet

  Removes pet hair well, does not fit well to Dyson DC15 Animal 27 January 2011

  This tool does lift pet hair very well however I think someone from e spares should try fitting it to a DC15 and actually using it to clean a carpet or rug and you will discover how frustrating this is as however tight you manage to do the compression joint up it does not remain in position for more than a couple of "sweeps". Conclusion good product that needs to be produced to specifically fit to a Dyson.

  I found it too difficult to put on to the pipe, it has to be twisted harder than my "older" hands and wrists can manage - someone put it on for me and I cannot remove it now to swap it with the regular tool. I may need to get a tool to grip and twist it on and off or always ask a young man to do it!!

  Fantastic for dog hair; useless for vacuuming 14 August 2009

  This brush is used mainly to clean a dark blue wool/nylon carpet. I've never seen anything like it in removing dog and cat hairs - fantastic! BUT it just scrapes them into piles; it doesn't suck them up as well. I found myself vacuuming the vacyuum head every few seconds to actually remove the hair. Having said that, the carpet sparkles and is hair-free
