  The washing machine was over 10 years old, no problem until it started violently shacking. Looked on e spares videos. Very helpful. The replacements damper kits were much stronger. Once in the machine it also needed the springs. Now I have a machine that is quiet just like a new one and for far less than buying a new machine!

  Seem good - fit to Hotpoint WF-100. 01 August 2018

  The machine has stopped banging and jumping about, so initial result is good and as expected! Mostly I came here to reassure anyone else with a 13+ year old Hot Point WF-100 that these do fit, even though they look very different to the original part. It's hard to rate products like this when you've only just fitted them and so cannot yet tell just how well they'll work or how well they'll last. I'm hoping this will be the first and only time I will change them. My tips - you'll be going in at the bottom of the machine, find a way to support the drum if you don't have the shipping bolts or you'll struggle to remove or insert the pins/pegs because stuff really needs to line up at the top of the shocks. New pins/pegs are supplied, so you can choose to cut the springy tab off the old ones to aid removal if it helps. Be aware that the edges of the metal at the bottom of the machine are sharp!

  Knocking Drum Solved 27 March 2017

  Washing machine had started to bounce around when fully loaded and sounded very noisy. Thought at first it was the bearings but these seemed ok so bought some new dampers. The replacements were a better design than the originals, easy enough to fit and have solved the jumping about problem!

  Great quality fittings 18 January 2017

  Not a difficult job to fit if you follow the videos, especially the one relating to fitting a new door seal, and of course the tip about using a 13mm ring spanner! Together with a pair of drum suspension springs these have cured the vibration problem on my machine.

  Should have renewed these earlier - total change in the machines performance and the availability to manage heavier loads, such as towels was much improved. However, do not think that this is a 30 min change if you take into account the moving of the machine etc! The tip regarding the 13mm dia ring spanner (to hold in the tab) great idea. Once you have done one, the other seems so much easier and quicker. One big tip use machine oil on the pin and the bush when re-assembling goes together much easier and quicker. Great product, but look nothing like the original (Hotpoint)

  Item supplied was exactly right but not quite as easy to fit as shown in the video. Took slightly longer as the pins were hard to remove and one had originally been fitted by the makers with the 'tongue' inaccessible.

  Replacing dampers on a WMA48p hotpoint washing machine 25 October 2015

  Thanks to the other reviews which had tips on fitting Re socket to hold down the barb on nylon pin etc,Fitting took me about half an hour. The machine is so much better now, only complaint is from the wife as to why it took me so long to get around to fixing it.
