  Quick Fix 04 December 2016

  I was rather alarmed to find two paddles in the bottom of the washer drum and did not realise that replacements could be purchased so easily to fit yourself. I ordered two and fitted very easily, just clicked into place and back in business. Unfortunatley I should have ordered three because the last remaining original paddle failed within days and so I had to send for a single paddle and wait a bit longer. If you use the washer without the paddles and your garments get caught on the sharp edges they will rip. (one sweatshirt and one shirt damaged). I would recommend you replace all paddles at the same time based on my experience.

  Wife happy now 17 April 2015

  I put off replacing the paddle in my Candy GODF800/L80 washing machine as I thought the call out and or losing my machine for a couple of days was going to be expensive and too much hassle. My wife finally convinced me to seek a replacement as she was fed up sewing her clothes as they were being chewed up by the drum because the paddle wasn't there. The paddle is so easy to fit line it up in the holes in the drum and pull it towards you. There is no need to strip down the machine to fix the Torx screws as the paddle is a perfect snug fit.   I have ordered this item on three or four separate occasions. They do not seem to be very good quality and break easily usually within a few months. I can't find any better quality one so I have to continue to buy them.
