  A Great Money-Saver 24 July 2011

  When my daughter phoned to say that a paddle had fallen off her washing machine drum, I thought the Bank of Dad was in for a bashing as I envisaged a man was needed to remove the drum and fit another. Probably a write-off and new machine would be cheaper. But NO!!! A visit to the espares website told me that it could be fitted easily without drum removal and for less than a tenner little was wasted if that turned out not the case. I placed an order to be delivered direct to my daughter and waited for the call to come and fit it. Two days later, the call.....'it's arrived dad and I have fitted it in 3/4 minutes'. Nothing sexist intended, but fitting is that easy!!

  Does what it says on the Tin ! 10 September 2010

  Easy to fit, We tried to wash a pram which got wedged and knocked all the paddles off. these simply snap back in place. Easy fix which saved us a costly call out. just check that the little metal retainer is bent upwards a little, you'll know what I mean when you look in the drum. Then sit the paddle into the slots and pull towards yourself. It snaps in place, job done.
