I was very sceptical about these, seen them advertised for years but HOW WRONG WAS I??? They are absolutely FANTASTIC. They absolutely reduce drying time and items come out soft and without crinkles. To start with they bash about a bit but once they are warmed up you can only hear the sound of the tumble dryer. Used in a compact dryer and efficiency is fabulous. I would highly recommend these.

I heard of these through espares and am really grateful for a more ecological alternative to softener, which I had already stopped using. I also learned that the balls save up to 25% of the energy spent on drying. What's not to like?

These really work. 28 January 2019
Had a pair of these about 5 years ago, but they have recently broken up due to long term heat effect. Have found they shorten tumble dry times and and hence electricity savings; Also seem to improve texture of garments.
