  The product is very hard and tends to make quite a bit noise when machine is operatiing. Unsure of saving money on electricity as we do not have a smart meeter.

  Does the job but ... 22 February 2017

  Not really as expected. Very hard (I thought they would be more rubber than hard plastic) and make lots of noise inside the dryer drum unless it is very full. Does what it says though and reduces the drying time.

  Surprised at how hard these dryer balls are( I thought they were going to be soft). As a consequence they make quite a noise when in the tumble dryer. The claims about fluffier towels etc are difficult to quantify and the energy saving claims, similarly, are hard to determine. I am just relying on the marketing hype given that the cost of the balls was cheap enough to risk giving them a try.

  Seems like great idea, but after using 6 times the debate is open for discussion. Perhaps I am judging them too early. These balls certainly make a lot of noise when banging around the drum but the end result is do the towels come out any fluffier than usual.....?? In all honesty I can't tell the difference! Maybe I was expecting just too much??

  One of the two balls we got disintegrated after a few uses and had to be thrown away...the other is still in new condition and seems to be helping with time and softness

  There is no instruction on the package to advise whether two balls should be used at the same time in the drum. Are you meant to work this out for yourself by using one alone and then two??

  These balls appear to make my clothes softer. I haven't had them long enough to assess whether or not they cut down on tumble drying time but it looks as though they may.

  Tumble Dryer balls 05 October 2014

  Purchased these after an email from espares, Easy to fit just chuck them in and away you go. However they are noisy in use. had some prior to purchasing these and cannot remember them making so much noise and I think they where make from a soft silicone type of material. haven't noticed if my clothes are softer or shorter drying times or any energy savings as my dryer is gas and is cheap to run and makes monitoring a bit harder.
