  Good idea if it worked 15 October 2017

  I have put these spiked balls in my tumble dryer with both towels and sheets and duvet covers. They are extremely noisy even when there are towels in with them. However, I haven't seen much improvement in the actual drying time, or the amount of creasing in sheets, etc.

  Beware 14 January 2017

  I thought these would be good in my tumble dryer, they were excellent in the previous one but have stopped using them as I found the drum was pitting where they were hitting it. This is probably because the drum on this one isn't such good quality.

  They are so noisy when in use and I wonder if they will damage the tumble drier drum. I can't detect any saving in either the drying time or softening the clothes.

  Didn't make any difference whatsoever either to drying time or reducing creases in anything. Would have preferred to give no stars to either quality or value but review not accepted when I attempted to do so. As I only had to place the product in my dryer had to give 5 stars!

  Not fit for purpose really 30 January 2016

  They don't appear to make any difference to drying time but increase the amount of lint in the filter through abrasion. After the first couple of uses one of the balls started to disintegrate and the pins broke away leaving a hole maybe if they were warmed first it might have stopped the damage. oh and they are also quite noisy too. overall I don't think they are worth it.

  Misleading claim. 30 January 2016

  Energy saving? It takes a given amount of thermal energy to evaporate a given amount of water. If only 75% of that energy is applied to the same amount of water, then 25% of it will not be evaporated. Simple physics.

  site declares energy saving up to twenty five per cent ,no significant saving as I have a smart meter and could compare use with or without , just a noise maker in my opinion

  The balls didn't make the slightest bit of difference to the time or softness of the clothes in our tumble dryer. It may be because we've got a big capacity drum anyway.

  only used them once put them in dryer with 2 towelling bath robes and they took all the colour out of them!! Won't be using them again!!
