  I bought these tumble dryer balls as I could no longer buy tumble dryer sheets locally. They are very good indeed. We run a B and B so soft towels are important, and these balls do the job perfectly - and much less expensive than buying the sheets.

  Got these to tumble dry goose down jacket. They are hard, but quickly soften up in the heat of the dryer, and seem to do the job of fluffing up the down and preventing it from clumping. Not sure if they reduce drying time and save energy, but a good purchase, would recommend.
