I have used versions bought from door to door salespersons, which have proved to be rather noisy. These are nicely quiet and hopefully they are saving energy costs and therefore money.

These looked silly when they arrived and I didn't think they would make any difference to my wash but now I don't use fabric softener at all and mainly dry the washing as much as possible on the line and then finish it off with a 20 minute tumble with the balls. No need to iron usualy and the washing is wonderful and feels soft. Highly recomended.

Initially sceptical, I can confirm they work, don't overload the dryer and they work a treat! Thought the pricing was a bit firm but on reflection they may pay for themselves. Try them.
