This is a spare element for our cooker as it let us down a couple of years ago on Christmas Eve and with a houseful this year we wanted to have a spare just in case. We used espares last time and this element arrived fast and is easy to fit. Always pleased that what it says online is actually correct!

Fan oven element for Electrolux 10 November 2014
Well package. eay fitting a little awkward but that is the oven not the item. Last one went around 2 years ago, but oven gets used alot. Tips on how to prolong life are well worth checking out; 1) dont open oven door too much, 2) turn down temp when opening door and check seal is ok.

I was impressed with the service that I received from the operative that I contacted. When I quoted my cooker details he advised me on the correct item that I required. I've only rated ease of fitting as 4 because, in my case, it depended on age, eyesight & physical access to the oven.

The new element I received from e-spares was a genuine Electrolux branded part. It fitted perfectly.The e-spares demonstration video was extremely useful in giving me confidence to carry out the renewal myself.

I have installed one of these elements every year for the past 5 years in my 'AEG Competence' cooker, unfortunately they only appear to last around 12 months and this is using the cooling cycle button after each cooking session. If the element blows you will need to replace the fan motor as well, usually its the fan that has failed and caused the element to overheat, so if your element goes pop I suggest you need a fan motor as well ...
