  Very helpful video to remove part & check it was the correct part for my washing machine.....Ordered, paid for (part was in stock & was supposed to arrive within a couple of days)....I did wait a few days longer....however, I’m really happy 😃 that I could fix it myself...will use eSpares again👍

  Rear mounted on a Zanussi ZWF16381W... 21 October 2017

  Fitted easily enough once I discovered that the video isn't accurate for the Zanussi ZWF16381W - where the element is REAR mounted. So I had taken the top and front off the machine without needing to! Once I put the top and front back on, removing the rear panel and the element only took 10 minutes. Would have given a 5 star rating if the video had been accurate for my machine.

  Perfect Heating Element for my Washing Machine 13 January 2016

  After much research ESpares website was able to point me to the exact replacement heating element I required for my John Lewis washing machine. While not particularly cheap it was good value as it was of excellent quality and complete with replacement thermostat. What was most useful were the two videos showing how to replace the element both for a front fitting and a rear fitting, the latter being much simpler. Fortunately I removed the back of the machine before ordering and found that it was a rear fitting. Following the video was simple and, although badly corroded, the old element was reasonably easy to carefully prise out. Smearing the new seal with washing up liquid was a good tip and the new element slid easily into place. There is a clip to fit it into. Make sure you remember the wiring connections. However they are not complicated. A very good purchase which saved me an expensive call out.

  Elementary - I bought an element 16 months ago. 13 July 2015

  We are just two Married people and a Mother in Law so a washer element should have a long life with us but the last one from espares only lasted 16 months.. The element is easy to replace if you are reasonably athletic so I bought another washer element from espares. This time I paid 50% more for an approved replacement part thinking it would be of better quality but when I compared the two elements they looked to be of a totally identical type so I presume that in 16 months from now??? I must state that the chances are that I will be looking elsewhere for an element that is if we do not buy a new washer. I can get a cheap £0? element of an identical pattern fto the ones I have bought for £000? and £0000? from somewhere else.... Why pay through the nose for an approved element when they are all being made to work only until the 1 year guarantee runs out!
