  Rather expensive and not really very durable. The cap really needs to be protected by a metal top. It still malfunctions and wastes the cord. OK for DIY use. Unnecessary packaging. a plastic bag would suffice.

  the line spool was fine the service excellent the price was great but the orange cover does not fit a gl 650 mark2.please advise.

  Mixed feelings 23 August 2010

  I was pleased with the ease of order and speed of delivery. the product however was not of a good standard. The metal line holder at the side of the spool came off the first time that I used it taking up time to search for it in the grass and to reattach it. This was the reason I needed a replacement in the first place. Also when using the extra stength strimmer strips I found the chord to be too thick for the metal holders causing the chord to snap on normal grass strimming. The cover does not have a strip holder which then allowed the chord to cut through the centre plastic column when strimming leaving a hole. I feel the design needs to be looked at to ensure these faults do not continue to re-occur. Thank you, LW25
