  Expensive and Useless 14 October 2016

  Used on a cream carpet. Did not lift any stains. was awkward to use. Did leave a nice smell but overall was expensive and useless. Back to Dr Beckmanns for me.

  Disappointing at best 20 March 2016

  I had great expectations of this product doing the business on some ash brick dust accidentally dropped on the lounge carpet. Carefully followed the simple instructions, but all to no avail. A second attempt was equally disappointing. Sad, because I had so much faith in the Dyson name that I bought two packs of this stuff. May be I'll keep trying, but only out of idle curiosity, and I do have some to spare.....

  Dissapointing on first use 15 September 2015

  I am aware how this technology works and had every belief that it would would remove a greyish discolouration on a white bedroom carpet caused by foot contact after applying moisturising cream. The yellow-orange, damp, powder was easy to apply and I spent some time "grooming" it into the carpet. The instructions say to Vacuum up after 30 mins or when dry. In fact it took over two hours to dry. On vacuuming up the powder, I was very disappointed to find that, although some of the discolouration had gone, by far the majority remained. I treated a further section of the carpet, which lies against the skirting board and which had become somewhat blackened presumably by dusty air being sucked though it from beneath the floorboards when vacuuming. Again, there was an improvement, but nowhere near what I was expecting. I will retreat both areas to see if matters improve.
