Easy to use website and efficient delivery 03 October 2021

The fitting video was helpful although for a different cooker. Detailing the nut to fix the fan blade was left hand was really helpful. We have a Cannon double oven and the grill for the fan is a pressing in the back panel that has 3 tabs that have to be cut. I used a flat blade screwdriver and hammer. After fitting the fan which is simple enough the grill has to be rotated slightly and fixed with five self tapping screws which are not supplied but cheap enough to buy on the web.

Easy fix for old Hotpoint Nouvelle 6172 double oven 26 March 2021

Ordered at 20:45, received 13 hours later - superb. Excellent value generic part purchased in an attempt to salvage parents old double oven. Helpful video online- I’m very much an amateur diyer but from opening the box to finishing the job only took 30 mins. The fan had stopped working in parents oven and they were about to Order a new oven , but for less than £20 it was worth trying this part to see if the oven could be repaired . It was an easy fit , slightly different location of terminals but made no difference. Really impressed.

Did the job and cooker Tricity Bendix SB 460 fine again 23 January 2021

I shortened the old screws by c. 5mm and all works lovely now. You could replace the old mountings of screws in oven, but it was easier to use the old screws when shortened.

    Excellent value 12 December 2020

Not sure how long it will last but it's working fine now and well worth the effort. It fitted upside down in my application which would mean lengthening some wires but I chose to remove the 3 motor fixing screws, rotate the motor 180° and secure it with the 3 mounting screws through the plate and into the motor. Works a treat.

    Great replacement 07 February 2020

These fans weren’t the official replacement item that I was searching for but they did the job and all at an incredible price. I’d like to thank Fiona her help, will use the site again.

Needs a heat protecting pad 31 December 2019

Nothing wrong with the part. When fitting, I found that the three screws that hold it in place are accessed from the INSIDE of the oven BUT, you take the bottom of three screws OUT and leave the top 2 Screws in but loosened. The unit then slides upwards to release (Once it's out you'll see the way this works). Re-fitting the new part is simple, but make sure that you get the earth terminal where the earth lead can reach BEFORE tightening. My heat-shield pad disintegrated as I took it off to fit to the new unit, so buying a new heat pad is really importants. With the availability of parts like this, ordinary people can save hundreds of pounds if they can self fit or even if they need a QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN to fit the part THEY BUY. (Recommended to use a qualified electrician ALWAYS). My 1 metre wide oven had a complex set of screws and bolts at the back to access the fan, so not for a DIY'er IMHO.

So Proud I Fitted It Myself 10 July 2017

Bought a replacement oven fan for a integrated Hotpoint BU82 not thinking what i was letting myself in for. Not being a "handy man" id previously replaced the element thinking it was easy so thought what can be hard about replacing the fan .. what a surprise it was. I knew the fan was showing inside the oven and having previously taken off the element made it quickly into the oven after i had turned off the fuse at the mains electric. I took off the back panel and remove the fan only to find the fan motor was no where in sight. After a quick google it became clear the motor was at the back of the oven, something i was now dreading as i wasn't a "handy man" and had only really changed a light fitting so it was a bit over my head. However i knew id give it a try and if all else failed id have to buy a new oven. Removing the oven from the kitchen unit was easy with just a few screws and i soon had the oven on the floor. Removed the back panel with ease to show the motor. Taking a quick photo of all the wires and cables i was ready to remove it so i had it in my hand. This is when it became apparent the replacement was slightly different in shape but i soon had it figured what went where. The fittings to the motor were horizontal not vertical and there was only 1 side connector not two but It was put back in place quickly, connected up and before i put the back panel on i turned on the fuse and tried it. To my amazement i had done it and the fan was spinning. Popped the back on, the insides went back on and with a little help form my son soon had the oven back in place. Job well done if i do say so myself
