  Good replacement for the money 27 March 2014

  All the fixing points were in the right place. The electrical connections were placed slightly differently but worked fine. Slightly awkward to fit but that was down to the design of the cooker, not the replacement fan.

  right motor, wrong orientation 04 September 2013

  This was ordered to replace the oven fan on my belling cooker. All in all good value for money and quick delivery, BUT what I thought would be an hours job turned out to be in excess of 2 hours. The motor frame fixing holes are 180 degrees out from my old motor. The new motor came with 6mm tapped holes which fortunately for me I had a few 6mm set screws to use. Due to the motor having to be rotated to fit my cooker's fixing holes I then had to extend some wiring to allow the connections to be made to the motor. Eventually everything came together and we now have a working fan assisted oven again. Good value for money but a struggle to replace. Fortunately I am an engineer so could manage the modifications ok but may be a struggle for some one less skilled.

  espares stock many different Belling fan motors so it sounds like you ordered the wrong one. Always check with the full model and production number as changes can occur in production.

  MAIN OVEN FAN + MOTOR 11 July 2013

  VERY PLEASED WITH ITEM , DISPATCH AND PACKAGING , OVERALL FITTING WAS EASY AND A DIRECT SWAP FOR OLD ITEM, UNTIL IT CAME TO THE WIRING , AS NEW ITEM HAD PLUG IN TYPE FITTING AND OLD HAD SEPERATE TERMINALS , SO SOUGHT ADVICE FROM YOURSELVES , BUT TOLD NO TECHNICAL ADVICE ABLE TO BE GIVEN. SO SET ABOUT FIGURING IT OUT , EARTH WAS STRAIGHT FORWARD AS MARKED ON NEW ITEM VERY CLEAR , BUT NOW CAME TO LIVE AND NEUTRAL FEED AND TO WHICH POSITION THEY NEEDED TO GO TO, FIGURED OUT WHICH WAY FAN SHOULD RUN AND ATTACHED WIRES AS ,I THOUGHT SHOULD BE , RED TO FRONT AND BLACK TO REAR AND GOT IT RIGHT FIRST TIME . SO GOT IT SORTED AND VERY PLEASED ALL ROUND AND THINK ITS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND WILL BE A RETURN CUSTOMER , ALL BEST AND MANY THANKS .

  Great Fan but isn't a direct replacement! 25 April 2013

  The only way I could get this fan to fit my Hotpoint HAE60P was to apply a massive amount of spacers. Essentially all the screw holes line up great but the fan shaft is far longer than the original around 12mm, which doesn't sound a lot but trust me its more than enough for the fan blades to be trapped by the metal front cover!

  item came boxed, and was fitted and working within half hour, (that included manouvering cooker out and back in), cost saving on having someone out to replace fan must be ?? pounds.many thanx espares...++++
