A patern part for our Bosch. Saved £30 on the original equipment and its identical to the first fit item. Easy to fit if you take your tiem and with this and the new handle our washing machine is like new again. Excelent item.

I was a bit anxious about replacing with a 'not original manufacturer' seal, but I need not have worried! This was just as the original and is doing just as good a job. As always the seals are a bit fiddly to replace, but all is well at the end!

Repace washing machine seal 30 December 2008
The part arrived promptly - even over the Christmas period. We read the installation instructions given on this site and found the process sraightforward, if a little fiddly. Anyone with a modicum of common sense should experience little difficulty. Well satisfied after we'd managed to do it ourselves. Be careful not to cut your fingers on the outer rim as that can be sharp. Apply the conditioner as suggested! We tilted the machine back 30 degrees for marginally better access - but be careful if you follow suit! A second person to help is strongly advised and a torch might be handy too. Go for it - but be patient.

The seal is quite tricky to fit. 3 hours and two adults later, we have successfully installed the seal.

Using the helpful tip on removing the front cover (remove filter cover and one screw, push panel to the right remove then remove the two screws holding the front cover... done) and the whole thing took 20 mins!
