Only problem I had was getting it through the locating holes in the oven (tight fit). This may due to the type of oven rather than the element itself. Other than that everything else fit without a problem.

A Really good purchase 07 May 2014
The bottom bracket was approximately 3mm short in the length which prevented the element from being as secured as it should be. But I was able to get the screw in at an angle. Apart from that slight hiccup impressed with the quality(looked identical to the one I removed) Best of all, "it works" and at that price you can't knock it......A really good purchase

It would be helpful if the centimeter measurement between the 2 securing screw holes on the metal 'plate' were provided in the product details as my faulty one was wider. Anyhow, the bottom screw did secure the element upright with the 4-screw cover panel against it.

Fitted and worked well with no problems. Web site was great help in choosing the correct part and the video on how to fit it was invaluable. The only issue was with the packaging as the terminals of the element had protruded through the cardboard box and could easily have got damaged. As it happened they didn't and the thing worked fine. Could do with some extra protection for the terminals.

Speedily delivered replacement fan oven element 30 August 2014
Item was required in a hurry - delivery was next day as required, which was excellent. Fitting was slightly tricky, as the access on my oven differed to the excellent video showing how to replace element. After watching an engineer do the replacement, I now would have the confidence to do it myself. Easy, as long as you know how & where to chug the old item out of the unit! I can't comment on quality until I know how long the element might last. the old one lasted from 1998 until 2014! It looked fine and engineering finish was good. It certainly was good value for money, as I had expected to pay at least double what I did pay. Well done eSpares.
