The cooker element arrived week after ordering, which for a common stock item was slightly surprising. Probably next time I will source one locally in order to not be without a cooker for over a week! Although the item is easy to install, this particular item was made more awkward by the hole for the attachment screw being too small to fit the screw. Once fitted, the heating element does the job of heating the cooker. Thank you.

I love my oven, it’s old but I’m comfortable with it so when the old element blew I considered it worthwhile and time expedient to DIY a new element for around the cost of a decent takeaway pizza - quick job even cleaned the oven whilst I was in there - great result plus mega brownie points !
