Was told to scrap cooker as repairing it would be too much! hey he obviously didn't know e-spares. ordered, delivered and fitted by myself (no electrician!) what a saving. thanks e-spares

In all i received 3 items from e-spares, grill element, main fan oven 2.5kw fan oven element & a main oven light assembly. I believe these items were very good quality and arrived very well packaged. All i used during the fitting were 2 screwdrivers & 1 spanner. Very easy to fit. The only down side was that the main oven element was out of stock when i ordered it so i had to wait longer than normal.

Choosing the right element was simple by checking against the oven model number. The video fitting instructions on the espares website made replacing the element a quick and easy job. Definitely saved pounds compared with "getting a man in."

After ordering mix-up (said it was in-stock, but then it wasn't and then it was) the element arrived after a short delay. If I hadn't lost the spade fittings when the wires pinged off inside the oven casing when I was removing the old element, it'd have been a simple job to fit. Having lost the wires, I had to remove oven from cabinet, remove back from oven and attach spade fittings from the rear. Now the oven works fine. £10.99 was much cheaper than the £60 plus parts a local repair company wanted too!

Fan oven element 19 March 2010
Speedily delivered and fitting was a 5 minute job that really was a 5 minute job! Matched the old one exactly and did not have to remove anything other than the oven back plate. Very pleased.
