The clip on my dryer broke years ago and the filter was troublesome to keep in position but I never expected to find a replacement for such a small part. A casual search of Espares revealed that the part is readily available. The moral is, search Espares they stock a very wide range of parts for a very wide range of appliances.

I purchased a new clip for the filter for my tumble dryer and now it's like new again.. I'm so happy! I broke the clip a long time ago, not realising I would ever be able to buy another ( as my tumble dryer must be over 20 years old) My Dad told me about espares and helped me find what I needed, it really has made my day as my tumble dryer is fab and I really didn't want to go buying a new one - now I don't need to!

Tumble Dryer Filter Clip 26 February 2014
This Clip is a very small moulded item fixed by 2 self-tapping screws so it was easy to fit. The small postal packet was delivered promptly by the postman. My only adverse comment must be the very high cost I had to pay for it. This moulding would only cost pence to make but it cost me far too much and I am not permitted to say how much otherwise my review is rejected. What a rip-off!

Hotpoint 1355 06 April 2016
Having purchased many years ago an English Electric 1355 Tumble Dryer and searched unsuccessfully for a filter clip I find that this clip belonging to the Hotpoint 1355 (therein is the clue) is an identical replacement part. I also use a smidgen of Silicone grease to now aid its smooth operation. The warm air being extracted at this point, any odor is drawn out rather than blown over the drying items. Back in business once again.
