The most likely reason would be the valve has weakened and is letting in water so check the valve.

Error code I30 on a Zanussi dishwasher refers to a water leak in the base activating the float switch, you will need to find where the leak is coming from.

Answer this question

Hi, I have trouble determing if my fill valve is dead or not. When I measure the resistance I get value of 4,3 kilo-ohms. What is the resistance of a new part?

The resistance reading you quote is typical for this type of valve.

Answer this question

Will not fill but if I tip the dishwasher forwards, then it WILL fill. When I stand the dishwasher level again it goes dead (stops filling and doesn't do anything else either). An engineer did come and look at it, and said the fill valve was OK so he's not sure what the problem is - do you think I should go ahead and change the valve anyway, or could it be something different? Will very much appreciate any help. Many thanks,

Hi there, I'd advise checking the drainage system - it could be that there's a blockage there. The drainage system is situated in the base of the dishwasher; remove the lower basket - you should then see the drain sieve and drain filter.

Answer this question

On the water level switch or possibly the air/vacuum switch, it is about 5cms round with two adjustors - do I screw these in or out to adjust the water level - at the moment it is overfilling and flooding out onto floor.
