    To replace bulbs in most microwaves you would have to remove the cabinet, this could allow you to accidentally come into contact with the high voltage that is used to power the microwave. This could easily prove to be fatal and for this reason eSpares recommend that you do not remove the case unless you have been trained to work on microwaves.

    We are sorry but do not advise on repairs in this area as this is very close to the high voltage connections to the magnetron and accidental contact can easily prove fatal.

    In order to access and replace your lamp it is likely you would need to remove the cabinet. As this exposes the high voltage section and this could prove lethal if accidentally touched we do not give advice on this type of repair.
