I don't get home from work until well after dark, on my way home everyone elses lights are on and was wondering whether they just get home earlier or if they use a timer. I normally plug all my lights in myself when I get home. Will this timer be useful for this situation?

Does the device have a simple timer function, i.e. to set a phone to charge for 2 hours as a one-off event? 1 Answer
As I do not necessarily charge my phone at the same time every day, I probably wouldn't want to schedule the charging but instead would want to simply set it to charge for a few hours whenever I go to bed. Would it be possible with this device? Kind thanks, CV.

No there is not a short on timer on this unit but it can be programmed to repeat a timed on period either every day or on repeating selected days.
