I'm looking for a torch with the power button located in a nore normal position rather than one at the bottom of the torch

You can use rechargeable batteries, we are not aware of a common problem with the switch.

The LED is not replaceable but is very unlikely to fail under normal use.
I can adjust the beam size OK but the package says it has 3 power modes, high low and flashing. How are these changed? The beam adjuster is the only adjustment I can see. Regards, Chris

On consecutive presses the torch lights full, off, low power, off, flash and off again.
I have inserted 2 lots of batteries, but the beam is feeble - it states that there is a 3 step power control, but I cannot see where to adjust this from low to high. I have the adjustable beam turned fully open.

Press once for on press twice for dim press three times for flash. If the torch does not respond in this manner contact our returns department.
For example if you dropped it in a bucket of water (unintentionally of course!) would it still be fine afterwards? Or is it just splashproof so that it's ok to use in the rain but nothing else?

This product is described as 'water resistant' not water proof and therefore is not suitable for immersion in water.
