This item is usually located in the base of the dishwasher, we do not currently have a video on the replacement of this part at this time.

Answer this question

I believe I will need a heating element or thermostat for my Beko dishwasher DFS05X10W. Purchased in September 2016. It does the wash cycle and cleaning / drying cycles, but the glasses are cold to touch, wet and no steam or heat coming out when I open door etc. Could you please recommend whether I need a thermostat or heating element or another part to make it in working order. Also I presume I can look on YouTube for one of your videos on how to do the repair? Kind regards

This is an NTC so the resistance changes with temperature and is not likely to be the problem. Got to our advice centre for more information on your problem.

Answer this question

My dishwasher seems to be 'staying on' hours after the end of the cycle. When i open the door steam spews out as if it has just finished. Will this part stop the problem? If so, do you have a how to fit video on your site?

Check the resistance of the NTC before deciding if it’s faulty, if there is no reading it is likely to be faulty, check out our video for more help www.youtube.com/watch?v=7b1-M_WKYJs

Answer this question

Our dishwasher has been working fine for 3 years, and all of a sudden, plastic dishwasher proof items are coming out warped. This is due to the dishwasher getting too hot (we use a 50 degrees cycle). This also means that the cycle is overrunning and we have to turn it off manually. But even after a standard 2hr cycle, this has become hot enough to warp some items.
