Genuine spare part for select models of Candy, Hoover and Otsein washing machines
door lock indicator (padlock) keeps flashing even though the door switch is ok,. what fault could it be? 1 Answer

You need to make sure the door is closing correctly otherwise the door will not lock, you cannot test the board so if you have replaced the door lock it is likely to be the board.
Will it work straight off when fitted

This control board does not require programming.

The control panel will not need configuring it will be the main module that needs to be supplied configured.

Check the dryer heater and NTC and its connections as this can give this problems. If these are OK suspect the control board. remember to order the programmed version.
Have been told that error code e8 is because of faulty circuit but buying one is a waste of money as they need programmed by Hoover which costs more that machine is worth

E08 usually indicates the module cannot see the motor turning, Check the motor brushes if it does not turn. This is the control board and does not need programming. The module can be supplied programmed or unprogrammed needing programming by a engineer.
