Will it fit a samsung model bf30n3t11 built in oven

We can only confirm if an original part is suitable for a specific model number. Universal parts can often be suitable but may require an amount of modification to fit. We advise where possible to use the original if it is available and you are unsure.

Can you plse advise which part to order to suit the above

The universal motor may fit as a direct replacement or may need an amount of adapting. We always suggest to carefully check the specifications and images to confirm it matches your appliance before ordering. Alternatively where available order the original motor.

Our information will only advise us of the correct original part and if you identify this you can compare the images. It is likely that you can use this universal motor, but on some appliances it may need adapting to fit.

Answer this question

Can you please advise if this motor will fit without having to be adapted in some way? Thankyou.

If the original motor is available we would advise to use it. However this may go straight in or need adapting to your oven so check the images and specifications as we cannot confirm if it is a direct replacement.

Yes it is a common problem that oven fan motors go noisey as the bearings wear. Make sure this fan motor will fit your appliance as it may require some modification. Or use the original Smeg fan motor.

Answer this question

I've changed the fan in my Kenwood oven for the Universal fan, the connectors for the motor are in a different orientation, so I'm not sure if the fan is turning the correct way.

On an AC synchronous motor it is not possible for the motor to go the 'wrong way'.

It is likely this universal fan will either fit directly or can be adapted. We always suggest for ease of fitting to order the original motor, but if unavailable or you are good at DIY this is an alternative part.

If the fan has seized it may make a humming or buzzing sound. If it does not spin freely by hand replace it.
